Sino-Coorporation Golden Road Technology Development Group Co., Ltd. and the Dulata Port Management Committee of Xinjiang Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture reached a cooperation agreement and officially signed the MOU.
The two sides will form a long-term joint development alliance with the advantage of unified resource integration to build China’s leading functional inland international logistics port, especially for road logistics in Central Asia - Dulata Central Asia Integrated Logistics Port Project.
To attract industrial clusters and enterprises to move in batches in major port areas by means of agent operation, while load with our own intelligent customs clearance system to further enhance the port logistics throughput capacity and customs clearance speed, to create a functional international integrated demonstration zone.
The Dulata Port of Ili Prefecture is located in Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County, at the westernmost point of the Ili River Valley. The Dulata port has always been a channel for folk trade and cultural communications and has obvious geographical advantages over trade between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the other five Central Asian countries.
In August 1992, the governments of China and Kazakhstan signed an agreement to open the Dulata Port. In March 1994, the construction of Dulata port began with the approval of the State Council, the State Economic and Trade Commission, and the people's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. in January 2019, the Dulata Port was opened to third countries, entering the ranks of international ports from bilateral ports and has opened a new chapter of deepening opening-up.
